Cornelia Vertenstein, a 92-year old Holocaust survivor who has been teaching piano to students from her home in Denver for the last 20 years is continuing this tradition by delivering lessons via FaceTime, continuing to provide inspiration and love of music to future generations.
'It helped me know more about my students — what kind of life they have,' Vertenstein told the newspaper. 'It’s not much, just one room, but it is illuminating to me because I know where they come from. I know a little bit better who they are.'
